Guard Your Heart

Why do we need a lesson like this? John 8:31-32 Jesus says to those who believe in Him, if you continue in My word, then are ye My disciples indeed; and ye shall know the truth and the truth will set you free. Simply, it is the truth that sets people free. Satan has deceived the whole world, and everyone born into this world system was born blind.

Daniel 9:9-10

To the Lord our God belongs mercies and forgiveness’s, though we have rebelled against him.

Mark 10:46-52

Jesus and his disciples come to Jericho and there by the roadside is a man called Bartimaeus who was born blind begging. He heard the commotion and wanted to know what was happening and was informed Jesus was passing by. When he heard he started shouting Jesus son of David have mercy on me. The people told him to shut up, but he shouted even louder and Jesus heard and called him. When he came, Jesus asked him a question, what is it you want me to do for you? The blind man said unto him, Lord, that I might receive my sight. Jesus says to him, go thy way, thy faith has made thee whole. And immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus in the way.

Jesus responds to faith, Bartimaeus entire world was in darkness from birth. He had heard of the miracles Jesus was doing and this kindled his faith, and when he heard Jesus was passing by, his faith/belief made him cry out. Notice people will always shout you down because you have faith, true faith should shine brighter in the face of adversity, so far from being silenced he cried out even more and Jesus had to respond to faith in him. Bartimaeus said Lord that I might receive my sight. He followed Jesus in the way before believers were called Christians in Antioch, they were known as people of The WAY. When your blindness is removed, you will only follow Jesus

Luke 5:17-25

The Pharisees were a strict religious sect who observed the traditional and written law and were very self-righteous. They had Doctorates in the law. Jesus heals a man in response to his friend’s faith and said thy sins are forgiven thee. The Pharisees accused Jesus of blaspheming because he said to the man thy sins are forgiven. They had the correct assumption that Jesus was saying he was God, but they were blinded because of their self-righteousness.
Jesus tells them plainly that he has power on earth to forgive sins and heals the sick man and tells him to get up take up your bed and go home and he did.

Luke 7:19-22

John the Baptist, who paved the way for Jesus locked up in prison and his faith wavered a bit because it is written in Isaiah 42:7 that the Messiah would bring out the prisoners from the prison, so he sent two of his disciples to ask Jesus if he was the one to come. In that hour Jesus did some miracles and sent an answer back to John. The blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, to the poor the gospel is preached.

Let’s go back to John 9

John 9:6-31 HOLD YOUR SPOT HERE (Isaiah 59:1-2)41

This is a complete lesson and he who was blind was made to see physically and spiritually and immediately gave the doctor, doctor, professor, professors a lesson that left them hopping mad and they threw him out. Jesus finds him and declares himself to him and the man believes and worships Jesus. The Pharisees ask Jesus if they were blind too. He tells them if they were blind they would have no sin but because they say they see their sins remain. In other words, if you humbled yourselves and came to me, because the prophets testified of me then I would forgive your sins and you would be healed. But because you hold your self-righteous position and reject me, the only one who can forgive your sins then your sins remain.

John 8:24

If we do not believe in Jesus, we will die in our sins and the lake of fire awaits. Hebrews 9:27 It is appointed once for men to die and after death the judgement.

Deuteronomy 29:29

The secret things belong unto the Lord our God, but those things which are revealed belong onto us and our children forever, that we may do all the works of this law.
But then I tell this to some of our people and they say the Europeans/the white man wrote the bible to keep us in slavery.

Isaiah 14:1-3

For those of you saying this, you are saying the Europeans will be taking us back to our homeland of Israel, they also write it that they are going to become our servants and make us rule over them for oppressing us.

Matthew 15:1-3, 9, 12-14

The Church leaders were transgressing the commandments/laws by their tradition and Jesus pulled them up for it. We are full of traditional teachings today without any biblical foundation. Christmas, Good Friday Easter Sunday doctrines, dead people going straight to heaven, the rapture, Sunday worship, pray over anything and eat it, God is a trinity-vs 7-9 Jesus says in vain you worship me. Vs 12-14 and the leaders are blind leading their people who they have made blind with these doctrines.

Lord, I pray for all present, and who may come across this teaching online, that we would receive our sight in Jesus Christ name we pray, Amen!
