Why do we need a lesson like this? Majority of people do not go to church, but many are looking for truth and the meaning of life. The moment they hear that we are a Christian their eyes are on us watching our conduct and their ears attentive to the words we speak.

Be honest, when people examine us even if they don’t like us, what do they see? Is it the fruits of the spirit or the fruits of the carnal mind? There is no hiding place! Even if we can hide from men let’s look what the word of God says

Your attitude is what describes you, what you want to be, may just not be what the people see!

What is the origin of the church? Most people believe that what they call the old testament has got nothing to do with the new and that Jesus started a new faith or church when he came on the scene. The first thing it is not the Old Testament but the first covenant which was made upon the law of animal sacrifices, Jesus changed that with the offering of himself.
