Why this lesson? having attended church all my life, I thought I was saved and once saved always saved, I thought I was born again now, I spoke in tongues and was surely going to heaven. I couldn’t wait to be raptured off the planet to be in heaven with Jesus. ….. but are we willing to put these beliefs to the test?

Amos 5:18-20

The Lord God is talking to people who believe in and are looking for his return and jubilantly so, but he says woe (great sorrow or distress) to you who desire the day of the Lord!

Jeremiah 26:2-6

The Lord God commands Jeremiah to go stand in the courtyard of the Lord’s house/church and declare to the people who come to worship him in the church exactly what I tell you, don’t miss out a word. Maybe they will listen and turn everyman from his evil way, so I won’t do them some serious damage because they were not obeying his law which he set before his church.

Isaiah 66:15-16

The day the Lord comes, he is going to do some hurt, he is going to plead with ALL flesh and the slain of the Lord will be many. When the Lord pleads it means he is going to kill and the slain of the Lord will be many.

2 Thessalonians 1:7-8

Same thing said by the apostle Paul, for those who are obeying God don’t worry about anything but for those who don’t then vengeance shall be upon us. Jeremiah said it was the law that they wouldn’t keep, here it says the gospel. The only law Jesus removed was the law of animal sacrifice and he took over the priesthood from the sons of Levi because he is now our Great High Priest.

Hebrews 4:2

The law of God was preached unto us as well as the children of Israel but because of unbelief they wouldn’t obey.

Galatians 1:11-12

Paul states the Gospel he received was revealed by Jesus Christ himself who is called the Word of God.

Deuteronomy 8:1, 3

Man shall not live by bread alone but every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God-This is the law Matthew 4:4

2 Timothy 3:15-17

The holy scriptures are from Genesis to Malachi which makes us wise unto salvation through faith in Jesus Christ. All scripture is given by the inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

Luke 1:5-6

What made Zacharias and Elizabeth righteous before God? They were keeping the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless.

Romans 3:31

Do we make void the law through faith? God forbid:yea, we establish the law.

2 Timothy 4:1-4

If we take away the scriptures which makes us wise unto salvation, which is profitable for doctrine, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that brings us to perfection, thoroughly furnished unto all good works then what are we left with?-Nothing but FABLES!!!!!

Jude 1:21-23

We keep ourselves in the love of God by keeping his statues, laws and commandments. How do we pull people out of the fire? by teaching sound doctrine.

Malachi 2:1-2, 4-8

Jesus took over the Levitical priesthood, but the laws remain, these are called covenants. Levi feared the Lord. The Law of truth was in his mouth. He turned many away from iniquity, how? by teaching them the law so they wouldn’t break them. The priest’s lips should keep knowledge, they should seek the law at his mouth for he is a messenger of the Lord.

Job 22:22

Receive I pray thee, the law from his mouth, and lay up his words in thine heart.

Ezra 7:1, 5-6, 10

Israel were exiled in Babylon who were then succeeded by the Medes and Persians. Ezra was a scribe of the Levitical order and the Lord had laid it in the heart of Artaxerxes the Persian king to grant that the temple in Jerusalem should be rebuilt. Ezra had prepared his heart to seek the law of the Lord and to do it and to teach in Israel statutes and judgements.

Jeremiah 1, 5-8, 9-10, 17-19

The Lord calls Jeremiah and told him before he was formed in the womb he knew him and set him apart and ordained him a prophet unto the nations. The Lord has set him over the nations and kingdoms to expose and destroy all falsehood with the words which the lord had placed in his mouth. He tells Jeremiah don’t be afraid of them or be dismayed by their faces or God would deal with him. The Lord God would be his defense against the rulers, the priests and the people.

Psalms 95:10/ Hebrews 3:10

Forty years long the Lord was grieved with Israel because they continually rebelled and have not known my ways.

Isaiah 30:8-10

The Lord had Isaiah to write it in a table and note it in a book forever as a warning to the church of our time that this is a rebellious people, lying children, children that will not hear the law of the Lord:who tells the ministers don’t teach us the truth, tell us what we want to hear, tell us lies.

Ezekiel 2:3-10

The Lord sends Ezekiel to proclaim lamentations, mourning and woes to the people who claim they love the Lord! He calls them briers, thorns and scorpions, they are going to want to do you harm because of the words I’m giving you to speak to them but don’t be afraid of them. (the priest’s job is a lonely job, even people who say they are your friends, when the Lord gives you a word like this to preach and it hurts, you suddenly find you are Billy no mates) the church is not a social club.

What church do you belong to?

People go around looking for a church where they can mold God in their own image, my sister Jennifer calls him the flexible god, you can bend him, shape him, anyway you want him, and he still loves you.

Acts 7:37-38/ 51-53, 59-60

Stephen gives a sermon to his people giving the rundown from Moses to Jesus Christ and states, this is he that was in the CHURCH in the wilderness. Stephen calls them stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Ghost/the word of God. They stoned Stephen to death who asked God not to hold it against them. Now there are people who teach that God has done away with Israel and they are the church now.

God forbid!

Revelation 21:10-12/9

The apostle John’s mind is projected for him to see the holy city, new Jerusalem descending out of heaven from God. The city had twelve gates with twelve angels and on the gates are the names of the twelve tribes of Israel. You cannot enter into the kingdom of God except through his church Israel which is also his bride.

Exodus 12:37-38, 49

The church started when The Most High God took Israel out of Egypt and brought them to himself/the non-Israelites saw the judgement of God on Egypt and it’s gods and knew who the true and living God is and wanted to be part of the church and God accepted them and so one law was given to all.

Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today and forever.

Hebrews 4:1-4, 7-8

The same words preached to the church under the first covenant based on the blood of bulls and goats is the same word preached to us in the new covenant based upon the blood of Jesus Christ. Back then they didn’t believe, and we are warned not to exclude ourselves from the Lords Sabbath day of rest meaning the millennium reign of Christ by our unbelief in not doing the commandments, laws and statutes given by God.

Matthew 10:5-6

Jesus commissioned the twelve disciples and tells them go only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel, why? Because they are still the priests/they fell of the track and went astray which is why the whole world is full of paganism and we are being punished being scattered from our land and everyone using us as a doormat.

Acts 2:22-23, 37-38, 41

Cornelius the Roman is the first gentile to come into the church under the new covenant. The angel told him to send for Peter the Israelite to tell him how to get salvation. The angel could have delivered a much better message, but God will not break his protocol because Israel are still his priest nation the church. The Lord had to speak to Peter in a vision to prepare him because Israel has always been nationalistic in their mindset and saw non-Israelites as unclean beast. So, God had to tell him don’t call people unclean who I have made clean. Then Peter understood and made the good confession that God is no respecter of persons but in every nation, he that feareth the Lord and worketh righteousness is accepted with him, how? By the word which God sent unto the children of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ.

So what church do you belong to? Name your denomination, I can’t read you in the book.

Which Jesus are you serving?

2 Corinthians 11:4

Paul talks about another Jesus being preached, (the flexible one) have you ever read that God is a trinity, if not and you are doing so, why do you pray to the holy ghost?

James 2:8, 10-11, 17, 19

If we love God we will obey him in all things, love is the fulfillment of the law and so faith without works is dead.

1 Peter 4:17

For the time is come that judgement must begin at the house of God:and if it first begins at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel.

Matthew 10:22

Even though we may be hated, if we obey our God to the end then we shall be saved but if not.

Amos 5:18

Woe to you who desire the day of the Lord! To what end is it for you? The day of the lord is darkness and not light.

If you belong to a church who don’t teach this word then please take this lesson to your pastors because just maybe they will hear and save themselves and their congregations but if they walk you to the door then keep walking and save yourself.
